About This Charter

Maximum of 4 Passengers On this trip, you will depart from Black Point Marina and travel a little over nine miles to the historic Boca Chita Key. Boca Chita is located within Biscayne National Park and is the most visited island within the park’s islands. Boca Chita was once owned by Mark Honeywell and used as a private island to hold parties for his close friends. Now the 110-acre island is owned and managed by the Florida Parks and is a major attraction for visitors and locals. The island has a beautiful basin to dock your boat. Upon arrival to the island, you will enter through the channel into the basin and see a 65-foot lighthouse that was constructed by Mark in 1938. The island has nature trails for you and your family to enjoy, a small beach on the east side of the island where you can cool off, breath taking scenery for family pictures and has saltwater toilet facilities on the island. Captain Pedro can give you a quick tour of the island or you can enjoy the tranquility at your own pace with your family and friends. This is truly a wonderful family experience and a great place for pictures and creating memories that will last a lifetime. From Boca Chita, we will depart and stop at the historic Stiltsville houses that were used by the elite from Miami for gambling and partying during the 1930’s. The beautiful and historic houses make for a beautiful backdrop for family pictures. We will then cross northern Biscayne Bay and approach the iconic Miami Skyline. We will pause for more group pictures before entering the mouth of the Miami River. While cruising through the Miami River you will see the breath-taking Miami architecture and the rich history that the Miami River has to offer. Once we tour the Miami River, we will make our journey back south through Biscayne Bay to the marina. Captain Pedro will provide a cooler with plenty of ice and space for all your food, drinks and snacks for the day. There is also a covered pavilion with picnic tables for you to enjoy snacks and food out of the sun. What to bring: ∙Bring snacks, drinks and food for the day. ∙You can bring a change of clothes and change in the restrooms located on the island. This is great for picture taking and then change into bathing suits for the beach. ∙Bring a camera or phone for pictures. Captain Pedro will be more than happy to take family pictures for you with the amazing back drops that the island has to offer. ∙Bring sun block.
